Gail Olson-Duck was inspired to join the Hartford Area Fire and Rescue by her mother who was a nurse in the medical field.
Olson-Duck joined the Hartford Fire and Rescue back in July of 2000. However, she had become a EMT in the 1980s. While Olson-Duck has been with the Hartford Area Fire and Rescue, she has held the title of Treasurer for 12 years.
When she is not at the Hartford Fire and Rescue, Olson-Duck is busy as a personal banker at Wells Fargo.
She and her husband, Jack, enjoy their three children (Kimberly, Nicole and Steven), along with grandson’s McCartney and Milo and Major, their golden retriever.
During her spare time, Olson-Duck can be found spoiling her grandsons, camping, swimming and also enjoys BBQing, reading and playing games.
