Make plans now to attend Main Street Days 2021 on July 9 & 10 in Humboldt, SD.
On Friday, July 9 the festivities will begin with a baseball game at 7:30pm. You can cheer on your local baseball teams in a heated game when the Wood Ducks take on the Gamecocks at the Humboldt ball field. Free entrance for kids wearing a baseball jersey!
Even if you are not a singer, come and listen to all the great local talent sing karaoke on Friday night. Humboldt’s own local DJ Kelly O’Gorman will host Karaoke with Kelly at the Humboldt Bar at 9pm.
Unfortunately, this year’s Friday night fireworks display has been cancelled due to dry conditions, but we hope to have it back next year.
Saturday, July 10 is jam packed with events. You do not want to miss the Humboldt Bar Car & Bike Show on Main Street from 10 am – 2 pm. Each year this Car and Bike show gets bigger and better. This year’s show includes all the traditional classes as well as a Rat Rods and Motorcycle class. Vote for “People’s Choice Awards” for Best Overall, Best Corvette, Best Mustang and Best Bike. Shine up your car, it is just a $10 entry fee, Registration 9-10:00 am with trophies for top 2 in each class.
Who does not love a parade? Bring the kids to watch at 2:15 pm. Call 363-3122 to pre-register your parade entry.
Right after the parade there will be a HUGE Bean Bag Tourney at 2:45 pm on Main Street near the volleyball courts – $20 per team, 100% payback, Double Elimination, there will be divisions.
Enjoy live music at 9:30 pm when our Street Dance featuring On Point Band plays. On Point is a local band playing covers of your favorite music. This year there is a FREE GATE courtesy of the Main Street Humboldt Bar as a customer appreciation celebration.
