This past Wednesday, Hartford’s local NAPA Auto Parts held its annual Customer Appreciation Day — an event honoring the frequent patrons and community members who support the business year-round. After skipping a year due to COVID-19, the annual event returned to the Hartford Plaza on July 21 and featured discounted tool prices along with a free lunch for all who attended.
According to store manager Steve Willis, NAPA has been celebrating its customers for over four years, an effort spearheaded by store owner Cody Bozied as a way to give back to the community. Customer Appreciation Day is celebrated in NAPA locations throughout South Dakota, including Brookings and Tea.
This year’s turnout was as steady as ever, with around 200 people attending. For NAPA, Customer Appreciation Day is a perfect way to give something back to the town and people who support them so wholeheartedly and they appreciate and thank all who came and participated.
