Sioux Falls

Randy was born and raised in Sioux Falls. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy in his younger days. For over 30 years he worked as a truckdriver and was employed with BPI for the last nine years.

His friends and family were most important to him. He enjoyed spending as much time as he could with his daughter, Tess, and grandson Marcus, “Little Man”. He spent his weekends with his Crew Family and riding motorcycle and loved to go fishing with his close friends

He was a “grind your teeth” Bears fan and was always starting, but maybe not finishing, house projects. He always looked forward to having a cocktail in the garage with Michelle at the end of the week and ending his Sundays with a hot meal with his family.

Randy had a contagious smile, could make anyone feel like family, was a loyal friend and had a heart that was larger than life.

Grateful for having shared his life are his daughter, Tess Klith and grandson, Marcus, of Sioux Falls; father, J. Steven Horman of Dubuque, Iowa; stepchildren, Toby Faehnrich, Tate (Amy) Faehnrich, Tacy (Bryon) Hills; four step-grandchildren; girlfriend, Michelle Rasmussen, Sioux Falls; sister, Nicole (Joel) Gruis of Colton, and many other relatives and friends.

Randy was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Klith; grandmother, Merle; nephew, Connor, and friends Tommy, Dan and Steve.

His family would like to thank everyone for their love and support and for sharing in the celebration of Randy’s life.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 1, at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, Sioux Falls. Please consider a donation to the family to assist with final expenses.
