The town of Hartford is to get a new ACE Hardware in town after construction started on the corner of Western Avenue and Opal Lane.
City administrator Teresa Sidel confirmed that a building permit had been pulled for an Ace Hardware store in that location. Although Sidel has not had direct contact with the owners, she is aware that the owner group has plenty of Ace Hardware locations outside of Sioux Falls.
“I know this owner group has several Ace stores in the outlying cities around Sioux Falls but didn’t have anything to the west,” Sidel stated.
