Getting to utilize their new showroom, Hartford Building Center (HBC) hosted the Hartford Area Breakfast and Build last Saturday, February 20. The event was sponsored by Dave & Co. Real Estate Team, Hegg Realtors and there were 10 vendors that were showcased.
“We loved being able to host this event in our new showroom at HBC,” stated HBC Owner/President Lisa Hellvig.
“We are so grateful the building center hosted in their space. It’s also fun to see everything on display there now that their addition is up and running. It was a fabulous space for the event (and they provided yummy treats)!” added Amy Larson of Dave & Co. Real Estate Team.
Based off door prize registrations, it was estimated there were a couple dozen attendees, according to Hellvig.
“Several attendees were looking to replace windows, doors, siding or shingles. It was great to be able to show them product samples right on site and get them the information they needed for their project,” Hellvig stated. She continued, “Attendees were also able to specifically speak to different contractors regarding projects they are planning, or meet with land developers if they were looking for lots.”
Larson said, “It was fun to sit back and watch everyone visit. We all have the same goal in mind, we want people to love living in Hartford.” She continued, “It is also nice for the vendors to get a chance to visit with one another. We can all learn from each other, discuss challenges and celebrate successes!”
Several banks, including Shamrock Property Management, were available to provide information on services that were available. Vendors provided a door prize of their own or chose to contribute to the grand prize. This year’s grand prize was a Blackstone Griddle and Grill kit which was won by Erin Alderson. Congratulations to Erin!
Hellvig concluded, “We are so thankful to be a part of this great event which was the brain child of Dave and Amy with Dave & Co. Hegg Realty. We absolutely look forward to continuing and improving this event each year!”
