Juanita June Cords was born December 7, 1939, to Paul and Margaret (Zinn) Cords in Hartford. Juanita grew up in Sioux Falls and graduated from Washington High in 1957. Following graduation, Juanita continued her education at Stewart Beauty School and became a beautician. She retired in 2018.
Juanita became a loving mother to her only child, Kim. She enjoyed visiting with friends and family and adored her dog, Nick.
Grateful for having shared her life are her daughter, Kim (fiancé, Walt Fields) Jones, and her special furry friend, Nick.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Margaret Cords; brothers, Richard and Gus Cords; and sister, Shirley Alfson.
