The Hartford Jamboree Days start their celebration on Thursday, June 17 and one of the events that is taking place is their Little Miss Hartford Pageant. There will be four young ladies competing for the title of Little Miss Hartford which is set to take place at 7 pm at the Amphitheater. Meet the contestants:

Kennedy Rostyne
Kennedy Rostyne is seven years old and is the daughter of Stacy and Travis Rostyne. Kennedy’s hobbies include reading, coloring, arts and crafts, gymnastics, dancing and singing. She also enjoys farm animals and helping on the farm. What Kennedy really loves to do is help people and animals.
“I would like to be crowned Little Miss Hartford because being crowned Little Miss Hartford would mean a lot to me. It would make me feel like a princess in all of the Disney movies. To be able to do fun things for our town of Hartford! And to make my family proud,” Kennedy said.

Violet Hagen
Violet Hagen is the eight-year-old daughter of Terry and Linda Hagen. Violet enjoys painting, dance, gymnastics, reading and drawing. She also enjoys yoga, swimming, riding her bike and bringing meals to a neighbor lady.
“I would like to be crowned Little Miss Hartford because Hartford is a special place where people are nice, kind and friendly,” Violet said. “It would be fun to teach other people things like being kind and friendly.”

Ryan Lee
Ryan Lee is the daughter of Nikki and Chad Lee and is eight years old. Her hobbies include sports, drawing, reading, going, shopping and playing. She also enjoys riding her bike, playing with barbies, cuddling and playing with her cats.
“I would like to be crowned Little Miss Hartford because I like to enter in stuff,” Ryan said.

Cora Strunk
Cora Strunk is the eight-year-old daughter of David and Connie Strunk. Cora enjoys climbing, doing gymnastics, swimming, kayaking and camping. Cora’s other hobbies also include reading, math and art. Cora wants to be a baker when she gets older as it combines her love of math, reading, writing and creativity.
“I would like to be crowned Little Miss Hartford because ever since attending Hartford Jamboree Days I have dreamed about being Little Miss Hartford,” Cora said. “I love to help people and I am proud of our town and schools and I want to encourage people to be involved and help others.”
