Grateful for sharing his life are his wife, Marilyn Flanagan of Pipestone; children, Mary (Nikki) Coughlin-Julian of Iowa City, Iowa, Casey Coughlin of Tulsa, Okla., Tim Coughlin of Sioux Falls, Sean (Tammy) Coughlin of Hartford, Rose (David) Kramp of Conde; stepchildren, Deborah Flanagan of Pipestone, Patrick (Linda) Flanagan of Pipestone, Bernie Flanagan of Owatonna, Minn., Dr. Dawn (Mark) Bucher of Lake Benton, Minn., Darcee (Jerry) Ellefson of Flandreau and Mike (Shirley) Flanagan of Garretson; brother, Mike (Kathy) Coughlin of Oak Grove, Minn.; sister, Marilyn (Dave) Hoversten of Sioux Falls; sister-in-law, Sue Coughlin of Chicago, Ill.; 15 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; 15 step-grandchildren; 24 step-great-grandchildren; and a host of many other relatives and friends.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents, John and Blanche (Stekl) Coughlin; his first wife, Kathy Coughlin; brother, Terrance Coughlin; step-son, Steven Flanagan; two grandchildren, Bernadette and William and mother-in-law, Belle Melcher.
Mass of Christian Burial was held July 28, at Cathedral of St. Joseph in Sioux Falls.
