Amber Easton graduated from West Central High School in Hartford and Augustana College in Sioux Falls. She was an author with over 20 published novels. She was an avid traveler and was always eager to go on spontaneous adventures. Amber grew up in Hartford where she enjoyed riding horses and was friends with many in the community.
Her children were her pride and joy and she taught them the important values in life.
She is survived by her daughter, Briahna Easton and her son, Benjamin Easton, both of Santa Fe, NM; her mother, Judy Ordal of Hartford; and her brother, Paul Ordal of Laguna Beach, Calif. She was preceded in death by her father, Merle Ordal, and her husband, Sean Easton.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 27, at Christ Lutheran Church, Hartford, at 3 pm.
