Members of Urban-Hanson Post 118 conducted Memorial Day observances at both the Hartford Community and Catholic Cemeteries Monday. Due to the COVID-19, no formal program was conducted other than a rifle salute and the playing of Taps after the traditional laying of a wreath at each site. Ladies at the Senior Center in Hartford provided hot coffee and coffee cake to the Legion and Auxiliary members as they waited between services. Post 118 would like to express appreciation for those who braved the elements to attend and observe at both locations.
