The Minnehaha 4-H Clover Creations Club held a meeting on Wednesday, December 16. The club has been meeting virtually this fall.

The club reminded members and volunteers to get enrolled in 4-H online for the 2021 season.

Our community service project this winter is the ‘Nurture a Nurse Bags’. We are putting together 37 care bags for nurses at the Avera At Home Hospice & Doughtery Hospice House. We will be collecting care-giving items that will fill the bags. For example, hand sanitizers, lotions, lifesavers, pens, instant drinks, lip balm, and other candies.

Club members will also make cards to encourage and thank the nurses. We will put the care packages together at our January meeting.

For our club project we made phone holders out of recycled materials such as paper towel tubes, scrap paper, and other decorations. The presentation was made by club member Jett, who made an example of a shark. The phone holders had a variety of different decorations and many were animal characters, each made by a member expressing their personality.
