Looking to move to the area or build a new home? If so, the third annual Hartford Home Show is available to answer questions.
On February 20, Dave & Co. Real Estate Team, Hegg Realtors is sponsoring the third annual Hartford Home Show, which will be held at the Hartford Building Center from 9 am-12 pm. Breakfast will be provided by the Hartford Building Center for all who attend.
In attendance will be local developers, contractors, service providers and mortgage lenders. These vendors will be available to answer questions ranging from what lots are available for sale in the area, what services and options are available in the Hartford and Humboldt communities and more.
According to Amy Larson of Dave & Co. Real Estate Team, Hegg Realtors., “These vendors are available to let people know what is available right in town. We often have people move to town and then they call us to see if Lowe’s delivers because they don’t know what we have in town.” Larson continued, “We have a lumberyard right in town and amazing people that do a great job. Most that move to town don’t realize that.”
Attendance has continued to grow and Larson clarified they still find the Hartford Home Show to be beneficial, no matter the outcome of the event. “It gives us all a chance to talk to each other. We still find it beneficial to come together and brainstorm when we aren’t as busy working,” Larson said. She continued, “On a Saturday morning, it’s worth the time to get to know each other and have a better understanding of what everyone does in the community. Some contractors get so busy that they don’t want to take a job to put a deck on a house but some contractors want jobs like that. It’s good to know those things.”
Larson also clarified that the event is very low key and no one will feel pressured to purchase anything or go with a particular contractor, etc. “If people want to chat, that’s great and if they don’t, no worries. No one will try to get you to do something you don’t want to do.”
