Keith Paul McKittrick was born March 24, 1942, in Rock Springs, Wyo., to James F. and Avyce (Thompson) McKittrick.
Keith graduated from Washington High School in 1960 and enlisted in the United States Navy. He earned his Honorable Discharge after contracting Tuberculosis in the Philippines. When he returned, he was employed by Jack Rabbit Lines, Land O’ Lakes, First National Bank and Old English Janitor Service. He retired in 2005.
Keith married Judy Pierson on September 7, 1968, at Zion Lutheran Church in Hartford. He enjoyed helping with the Boy Scouts and received the District Award of Merit in 1984. Keith’s favorite past times were fishing, camping and watching his New York Yankees.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Judy, Sioux Falls; daughter, Lisa (Tom) Dobrowski, Montrose; five grandchildren, Joshua, Anna, Alicia, Justin and Amanda all of Montrose; sister, Sharon Kindt, Brandon; and sister-in-law, Marie McKittrick, Sioux Falls; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Jr.; and nephew, Tom Kindt.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 18, at Grace Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls.
