In addition to the Parade of Lights and Ginger Bread contests, there were other contests that took place as part of Hartford’s Hometown Christmas with the winners recently being announced.
According to Hartford’s Hometown Christmas committee member, Erika Hellvig, the winners were as follows:
Hartford Community Lighting Contest:
Spirit of Christmas Award – Nester Family,
All is Bright Award – Adam Erickson Family,
Clark Griswold Award – Arron Husman Family,
Judges Choice Award – Austin Larson Family
Coloring Contests winners: Rowdy Hoing, Ada Strunk, Lane Sidel and Ellen Hellvig
Business Tree Contest Winner: Buffalo Ridge Brewery
Hellvig stated, “We thought the turnout was good for everything that was going on this year. All three meals that were served, sold out.” She continued, “The vendors at the vendor show said they were happy with the traffic out there. We also could not have asked for better weather in December to have this event.”
