TXG (The Xenial Group) Automotive has moved from its lot across from Hartford Plaza to an indoor facility at I90 and Cliff.

Corey Taylor, owner of TXG, is originally from Hartford and graduated from West Central in 2003. He has been in the car business for over 10 years. “I love helping people and I’m passionate about cars,” explained Taylor. “My grandparents owned a window tint and pinstriping business in the 90s and I spent a lot of summers going to car dealerships with them while they worked.”

Xenial (zee-nee-el) is a Greek word meaning to be welcoming and hospitable to guests, which is what Taylor and his three partners strive for when helping customers.

Taylor is thrilled to have an indoor building to keep his car inventory. “When we started TXG a little over a year ago, we wanted to specialize in sports cars and have our inventory on display inside, in a climate-controlled building,” explained Taylor. “We knew finding a building and location this ideal would take some time, but we wanted to get started selling cars right away.”

It is a bittersweet moment for Taylor moving his business from its former area. “The location in Hartford offered us a perfect place to start our business,” Taylor added. “The locals were so welcoming and we made some awesome memories.”

TXG is now at 5400 N 7th Avenue, Sioux Falls, right next to Catfish Bay. For more information and to check out TXG Automotive’s selection, contact Corey Taylor at 605-215-1313 and visit the website at www.txgautos.com.
