Dennis was united in marriage with Sandra Lee Morrison on September 3, 1965, in Robinson, N.D. Dennis retired in 2004 and made his home in Beulah until moving to Sioux Falls in 2015. Dennis was a member of Abiding Savior Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls.

Dennis was a gifted musician and played the accordion and drums in several bands. He enjoyed John Deere tractors, watching western movies and reading. Above all, Dennis loved spending time with his family and friends.  Dennis was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be deeply missed.
